Between the two articles, I would have to agree with Kenneth Goldsmith’s point of view on the Internet.   Although I can see how Saeinni would be upset, I think her argument is absurd and completely invalid. For example, she uses her personal experience as evidence, She complains about how she has spent countless hours learning and perfecting her craft and still not receiving as much exposure as these Instagram users get for their poems. As frustrating as that may be, I think it is a weak argument and a poor perspective to have on the subject. That’s like an art major working day and night to earn a degree in art and being upset that a local person in the community paints a mural and gets more attention. It is not a very good argument and it makes her sound jealous and insecure about her own work. While Kenneth Goldman’s view of the internet is much more open to change. Goldman acknowledges the changes of mediums and is aware that it is a more convenient and popular way of sharing different things. Saleinni argues that we have lost attention span throughout the evolution of technology while Goldsmith argues that we have just got more options of what we would like to engage ourselves in.
