Technology has changed so much about our everyday lives, so it`s not absurd that is is also changing how we read literature. Literature is always trying to reach an audience. They may reach them through books, magazines, news papers and now technology. Technology helps writers branch out and reach more people, and a bigger variety of individuals. Literature is changing because of technology, but it is not necessarily a bad thing. Change happens overs the years, technology just advanced it some.
I agreed with a lot of what Ellis said about our new literature and technology. As a society we have become more impatient. Society has become so accustomed to being in the know and having everything at the touch of a button, so that is how you have to present literature too. The idea of literature being out in social media just makes it more accessible to people, and that can only be benefit to any writer. Social media can be a really good way to get your name out there and well-known. This is the new age of technology, who knows whats next?
