The form of poetry that was recreated is a free-verse poem. This raw sense of poetry without many guidelines and rules seemed like the perfect style for such a nontraditional creation of poetry. The gifs I used, mainly display actions, therefore speaking the actions of the poem. Pacing was developed through this poem by setting the poems in sets of 1, 2, or 4. When using just 1 gif it creates a slower reading pace, whereas 4 gifs create a sense of urgency to the reading. To further add to the speed, I spaced out these gif’s more if the mood was supposed to be more drawn out and somber. Using the size of the gif, I created an importance to some scenes, almost as if you were to bold a word or underline it.
I created the mime walking through the door gif, and the girl crying black tears.
