For my poem, I chose to write in the form of a haiku. A haiku is a short poem that consists of 3 line with 5 syllables in the first, 7 in the second, and 5 in the last. Haikus are usually about nature, so for my poem I focused on a specific aspects of nature. My poem begins with 5 black and white GIFs of flowers dying. That is followed by 7 GIFs of clouds, rain, and then a sunrise. For the end of the poem, I chose 5 GIFs of flowers blooming after the rain. For those last 5 pictures I decided to keep them in color rather than in black and white since the flowers were blooming again. This poem not only shows flowers coming back to life, but it can also represent many things, such as new beginnings.
To find these GIFs, I searched specific things on the Internet and also Giphy. Out of all of them, I created 2 of my own one. The ones I created are the 12th and 14th ones.
