Narrative Poetry is the ability to tell a specific story while also incorporating poetry elements within. I chose to tell a story with a tragic problem followed by a bitter truth and finished with a depressing answer. I tried to use elements of color as well as motions to help my poem flow in logical way. I used the design process that Denis Cooper used in his Gif novel Zac’s Freight Elevator. The use of colors with a mixture emotions were intended to guide the reader throughout the story. Poetry is supposed to be interpreted and I think that I wrote a blueprint for a story, but I think it can be viewed in different ways depending on the reader.
