As I was growing up, I always struggled to pick up hobbies. I would always start them and ultimately get bored and quit. When I got to college, I decided to have my go at owning plants. It is the one thing that I am actually decent at and enjoy doing, but I have definitely had my fair share of fails. The fails I have encountered during the journey of me being a “plant mom” are what gave me inspiration for this poem. I did my poem using a total of 13 gifs. The gifs I made myself are #9 and #13. The progression of this poem starts with how I began buying plants without doing any sort of research, which then led to failure. Afterwards the gifs illustrate my progression of then doing my research and proceeding to buy more plants.
My poem actually DOES rhyme because every gif has a title. I do not think that my style of rhyming has a technical name in poetry. My rhyme scheme is AAAAA BBBBBBBB. The A section is separated into 2 couplets and an extra line. The B section is separated into 4 couplets total.
