For my blog, I chose to do a short haiku of my life. I used the technique shown in class of doing 5 gifs, 7 gifs, and then 5 more.

I did add a small twist by experimenting with the different options of displaying images via WordPress. I also spent a lot of time making my own gifs. The first you will see is 3 screenshots of articles written about me. It took some time to edit the gif to make it look just right. The second is a screenshot of a fake Message app that I built last year for a Scholarship to Apple’s WWDC conference. I modified my code to make it look like texts were co… .I don’t want to spoil it, just know it took a few hours. The third is simply an animation of two screenshots of my two apps on the App Store. The last is a gif of a camera taking pictures of some of my photos from the last couple of years.

For some context, the first line (collage) is about my childhood and growing up. It highlights my early giftedness, yet the frequency of me being teased for it.

Next, I chose to highlight a major point of my life which was my phone repair business. It begins with fixing a singular phone for some money, but after being highlighted in The Wall Street Journal, the business blew up even more and became extremely profitable.

After showing the hurt that was brought to me buy the success of my business, you will see more about how I continued to use my technological gifts yet still succeed in seeking out joy instead of typical worldly pleasures.
