Jarett Kobek in 2016 decided to publish the novel “I Hate The Internet”, which discusses the concept of the book itself being a bad book. He uses characters to bring up how the internet has impacted these individuals’ lives, and can affect mainstream society. The author creates terrible scenarios of how the internet can impact an individual in the worst possible way.
The internet is a scene for the political figures now, and Jarett Kobek makes the notion that essentially the internet is a collection of the worst Human interactions possible. Jarett Kobek appears to be a Boomer speaking of an industry he doesn’t truly understand. His distaste towards the internet and the digital age is very apparent throughout his novel. If he could’ve written the book less openly biased against the internet, it would have potential to be a book people could enjoy.
