This book put me to sleep

I hate the Internet is a novel criticizing the internet, written by Jarett Kobek. The plot of the book is a little hard to follow. There are many times throughout the book that Kobek tells a side story or rambles about one topic. He even spent three pages just discussing structural disadvantages. The jumping back and forth and many side stories make it a bit of a tough read. It starts out with a woman named Adeline. Adeline is from San Francisco and she helped publish a comic book with her friend in the 90`s. A video of Adeline was posted online and she began to receive many nasty and some even threatening emails and letters from people regarding the video. The book is a lesson about how bad the internet, ironically enough it was written on a laptop. Throughout the book Kobek uses examples of people

This book shows how the internet is sometimes unforgiving. The things you post on the internet are there forever and anyone all over the world can see and share it with whoever they like. This is the problem Adeline runs into in the book. she is recorded doing something sexual and the internet took over with it. She even got fired for this video, and started receiving threats from people she had never met before.
