Through the process of finding information about myself, I was able to gather information about stuff that I already knew online about myself as well as learning new information. I noticed that when I google my name, there are people who have the same name as me or is very similar to my name. I noticed that It includes my address of where I live and my parents name. I found this to be very personal and kind of creepy. This gave me a different reaction from what I found through my social media pages, other sites, and it shows how much of my college life has affected my data.
When I went to my Instagram page, I notice that I haven’t really posted since I graduated from high school. This is because College assignments, tests, etc. has consumed a huge part of my life. My posts consist of my partial parts of my high school journey. I posted with friends from high school, funny posts, quotes from Oprah Winfrey and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., pictures of myself, my sisters, and my late dog. My posts are also some special times that I shared with people. It is also part of my time capsule, where I have moments that I cherished. For example, I went to my first Tyler Perry’s play on March 5, 2016. It was an important time for me, because I was and still am a huge Tyler Perry fan. I also loved the fact that I was able to experience it with both of my sisters. I also loved taking pictures of my dog so much. Those pictures are a reminder of how time flies by and for a moment it so refreshing because I can remember when this picture was taken and what I was doing.
When I used google searching data, I was able to see my searches and my activity. My searches range from assignments on Moodle , researching info for research paper, definitions, stores, food places, and etc. It mainly consist of centering around college courses. I noticed that my posts that I have thus this far from college is a post about my organization for NCFR, and my social media analysis assignment for one of my classes that is suppose to get a response from my followers.
I have also seen that from Pandora, my top 15 artists that I listen to are Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Lyfe Jennings, Rihanna, Boyz II men, Marvin Gaye, Beyoncé , Usher, Céline Dion, Lauryn Hill, Drake, TLC, Christina Aguilera, and Fantasia. This also included an artists named Shaggy. However, I don’t listen to this artists, so I’m not for sure how he got onto my top 15 artists list.
