Planners Saves Lives

There are various ways we write online and offline and by taking the time to actually understand this has really opened up my mind about this topic. I document my everyday life using my planner I bought in the beginning of the semester. I put everything from school, work, sorority, to activities with friends and more. Before I put things into my planner I type everything into my notes on my phone such as, meetings, appointments, errands to run that day. I will then transfer this information from my notes and write them in my planner. I usually write them in phrases in my planner or abbreviations because its shorter and smaller to fit in the box.

Majority of students have a planner but I feel as if I use mine for everything and not just school. I like to write out my entire day and make lists of what I am going to do so I can cross them off as I finish them. If I do not have the day scheduled then I would be so unorganized. The internet has changed the way I write by making it more convenient to jot down notes on my phone really quick when I have an upcoming appointment or when I have to run an errand later. Writing is not only considered pen and paper, it is also considered online writing or typing and even texting others. Even on my computer I have sticky notes as reminders that I type or delete as the day goes on. All of these tools have helped me to stay organized and keep me less stressed.

You will notice that I tend to write in my planner and cross things out when I am sitting on my couch or in my bed. When I am writing things in my notes app on my phone however, I am in various locations. Everyone has various ways in documenting their life and I think the internet has encouraged us more in doing that.
